This is for a service/exchange of your old pump. We will require your old pump core for rebuild. Not all components are available for these pumps so we would need to assess yours prior to repair to see if it’s feasible. Sometimes we will have an identical replacement pump in stock, so can send out in advance but please contact us to confirm. A surcharge will be applicable in this case. If a surcharge is applied, we will need your old pump returned complete within two weeks of receiving the new one.

- 1.9-Liter TDI Engine with Pump Injection System The new 100 bhp (74 kW) 1.9-liter TDI engine with pump injection system was developed from the existing 109 bhp (81 kW) 1.9-liter TDI engine with a distributor injection pump and no intermediate shaft. The pump injection system comprises the only significant difference between the two engines.
New 1.9 M-TDI Pump. This is a mechanical pump that can run the 1.9 TDI engines. This pump is based off of the 1.9 AAZ Pump Body, so it will bolt on to the 1.9 AHU/1Z engine without modification. You will need the 1.9 AAZ sprocket or the MTDI sprocket. This pump is basically VW's own 2.8 MTDI pump sold in Europe.
